Today Dibyendu and I visited Mother Teresa’s Missionary of Charity Mother House at 54A AJC Bose Rd Kolkata India…

 

This is ALWAYS a special visit to show my highest respect to a wonderful woman.

 

As many of you know I met Mother Teresa in 1996 on my very first visit to Kolkata…After a nice long talk with Mother Teresa she taught me how to fold my hands in prayer saying these words ..You did it to me , I can make it better……while touching the tips of my fingers.. and making me cross my thumbs when finished.

 

Mother passed away in 1997 but her work for the world still lives on today with the work of her Missionary of Charity Sisters.

 

Mother Teresa’s tomb is located within the building of the Mother House and bus loads of people come to the house each day from all over the world to kneel in front of the tomb and say prayers.

 

Mother Teresa was special ! She worked hard to help EVERYONE with no exceptions.

 

If you are old like me you can look back at the years since Mother Teresa has passed away and you can clearly see that the world is not the same. It has become a very angry world.

 

Mother Teresa did her work from her tiny room within the Missionaries of Charity Mother House and she connected with world leaders to make it a better place for everyone.

 

She had no big fancy office or lots of money…

 

Mother did her work with what she had and she found a way to help millions of people with very little…

 

May Mother Teresa Rest In Love & Peace…
