Angels - Rourkela 20

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone had a nice Holiday and that it was a nice time to always remember.

Today I want to get back to my Angels stories about my last trip a few weeks ago. I have received many Emails and lots of good feedback from the stories.
Today I got up early in Rourkela and went to the Convent kitchen for breakfast. No matter how early that I get up most of the Sisters have already had breakfast and are now out of the Convent doing their work.

The Sisters have cut back on my food as I had asked and I have got them down from 4 eggs to 3 eggs. I tell the Sisters 1 egg is perfect but it’s now 3 eggs. I asked the Sisters will it ever get to 1 egg ? The Sisters look at me and say yes but we have to keep you healthy first.

Tonight is going to be a special night at the Convent. Sister Rita who escorted me to Rourkela on the train is being transferred to Belgium and tomorrow morning she will leave behind all the Sisters and her family in India and travel to her new home to do God’s work.

The Sisters are working hard to prepare a nice meal and church service for her to say goodbye to the Sisters.

So with all that After breakfast , I look out the rear door of the kitchen and I see Sister Mariam outside cooking on the outside kitchen stove with wood and other Sisters sitting near her cutting vegetables for tonight’s meal.

After a short talk with the Sisters I am off in a car to revisit Sister Reshma and the INDO German Kindergarten.

On my first visit I did not have any candy for the children and I felt bad about that , so I asked Sister Anna Mary if we could stop by again.

When we arrived at the school everyone was Happy to see me again. I had a huge bag of American candy to give the children. It was a nice short sweet visit with everyone.

From here we went to Super Max Bakery to pick up the ordered cake for Sister Rita.

You never know what you might see during the 20 minute ride. It could be a person making a living making a delivery on a bicycle or a cow walking up the sidewalk in the middle of the town square.

We get our goods from the bakery and return to the Convent to say goodbye to Sister Rita later that night.

Thanks for following all my Mails..

I hope that you learn something and find the stories interesting….
