Christmas presents for charities in the USA
Children are Angels from Heaven this past Christmas worked hard to look after two great charities in the USA with gifts for children Toys for Tots managed by the US Marine Corps Reserve and also Christmas in the City where our Donation of Children’s BackPacks were donated looked after by Joanna OBrien.
The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is directed by the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, with the assistance of his staff, from the Marine Forces Reserve∗.The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Marine Toys for Tots Program. An IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity, it serves as the authorized fundraising and support organization for the Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation provides the leadership, funding, and support needed for successful annual toy collection and distribution campaigns. The Foundation staff is headquartered in the Cooper Center located just outside the Main Gate of Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia, about 35 miles south of Washington, DC.
The other Charity Children are Angels Helped this year was Christmas in the City.
We’re a 100% volunteer organization devoted to helping Boston-area families experiencing homelessness and poverty, with an enduring commitment to making sure that ALL children can experience some magic around the holidays, regardless of their families’ financial circumstances.
This year for the Toys for Tots program I went shopping and brought home many toys for the children and put them in the collection box from all of us.
For the Christmas in the City Charity at Christmas, Joanna OBrien bought many backpacks that were all distributed to the children.
Also because of your generosity this year I was able to send a monetary check to help a few other places.
Special Olympics, St Jude Hospital, Boys and Girls Clubs, just to name a few of them.
To end this mail, The end of the year is always very busy for me, especially with me going back to India this year.
In the last few Angels Mails you have seen that we helped Children in Nepal, India and the USA at Christmas this year. It is more work than you might think and it takes many hands to get it done.
For everyone who donated funds or helped with the labor to distribute everything I Thank You from my Heart.
