Halloween Candy Project – 2024

Here Are the results of the Halloween Candy 2023 from St. John School in Wellesley, MA as well as St. John School in the North End of Boston, MA . It took about 5 weeks for the candy to reach India to complete the project.

 

The Halloween Candy was collected by the students and Staff of each school and donated to Children are Angels from Heaven.  The project was coordinated for Children are Angels from Heaven by Katy McDonough of Natick, MA. The many boxes of candy are sorted out by Patty OBrien and put into smaller post office boxes for mailing to the many places.

 

The Halloween Candy was sent to 13 places this year in the USA including 2 big boxes to India.

 

I have received some beautiful Thank You letters of appreciation along with a few photos to show you. 

 

Thank You to the Staff and Students of St John School in Wellesley MA and St John School in Boston MA for helping to bring smiles to many people during the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas with some candy.  Without all of you this project would never happen every year.

 

I would also like to say a special Thank You to Katy McDonough and Patty OBrien for all their hard work, as well as all of the Children are Angels from Heaven supporters for funding the postage of this beautiful project. 

  

The Halloween Candy project was started in 2004 and continues to this day ….  

 

Below you will see a list of where the candy was sent to this year as well as a few photos of it being sorted and boxed up for shipment. You will also see the photo of a young boy in India who is sponsored by Liz and Bob to go to school every day. He is weak in Math at school so I sent him a used math book inside the candy box to have the Sisters give it to him, to help him with his studies…
